Sealed bids/proposals will be received by the City of Buchanan, Michigan in the office of the City Clerk until the specified time listed above on July 21, 2025 at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud for the home repair work consisting outlined in the specifications that can be found online at: https://www.cityofbuchanan.com/rfps for the properties listed above.
The proposals as well as the plans and specifications under which the work will be done are on file and may be examined at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 302 N Redbud Trail | Buchanan, MI 49107 (269-695-3844). Copies thereof may be obtained electronically from the Community Development Department.
Some of the above projects are funded through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, CDBG Program. All bidders are required to sign a certification that they will comply with all Federal and State non-discrimination laws and regulations.
Any contractor needing access to the resident’s home must make arrangements with the CDBG program coordinator by calling 574-400-3600.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities in proposals and to accept the proposal that in the opinion of the City Council is most advantageous to the City.
No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of receiving bids.
