PURPOSE: RESCHEDULED PUBLIC HEARING FOR Michigan Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for Project NorthStar- The purpose of this public hearing is to allow citizens to submit comments on the proposed application for a CDBG grant. The City of Buchanan proposes to use $300,000.00 CDBG funds to support homeowner improvement, demolitions/reconstruction/resale activities in Buchanan's Northside Neighborhoods. All activities, upon completion, will benefit low to moderate-income households. 0 person will be displaced as a result of the proposed activities.
As well as special meeting after the public hearing to consider resolution 2024/01.03- authorizing resolution for CDBG Program, which was postponed at the January 23rd postponed regular meeting.

This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA 41.72a (2) (3) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
