To the qualified Electors of the City of Buchanan:
Notice is hereby given that a primary election will be held in the City of Buchanan o Tuesday, August 2, 2022. The polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
At the following locations:
- Precinct 1 - City of Buchanan City Hall, 302 N Redbud Trail, Buchanan MI 49107
- Precinct 2 - Redbud City Center, 131 S Oak St, Buchanan MI 49107
For the purposes of electing a candidate to the following office:
- Governor
- Congressional Representative in Congress 5th District
- Legislative State Senator 17th District
- Representative in State Legislature 37th District
- Count Commissioner 10th District
- Delegate to County Convention
Please take notice the City of Buchanan will be voting on the following local proposal: Dial-A-Ride Millage Renewal
Full text of Ballot proposal may be obtained at the City of Buchanan, located at 302 N Redbud Trail, Buchanan, MI as well as on the City of Buchanan Website at www.cityofbuchanan.com. Sample ballots may be viewed at mi.gov/vote.
Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may contact the local clerk to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot.
To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the city clerk in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.
