The Firehouse Park Memorial was completed in September of 2012 and worked on by the 150 Year Celebration Committee made up of past and present members of the Fire Department. The Bell was purchased in 1876 by the village and was used to alert fire fighters for 49 years, from 876 to 1925. It weighs 726 lbs. The Bell also appeared in Buchanan's US Bicentennial July 4th parade in 1976.

Firehouse park is a 0.3-acre neighborhood green space and picnic area.
